Course Details

With an increasing need for businesses to ensure they operate within legal frameworks and regulations, there has never been a greater demand for specialists with a combined knowledge of business and law. Open doors to a range of career opportunities by developing a dynamic combination of practical business knowledge and legal expertise. You will examine core business principles including finance, communications, entrepreneurship and human resource management, as well as covering legal aspects such as copyright, commercial law, company law, intellectual property rights and media and entertainment law.

This course offers the opportunity to take a ‘sandwich’ year – a year of paid employment in industry which will build your skills and experience. This is usually taken between the second and third year of your degree, typically making your course four years in total. Students who choose the sandwich route find it helps with both their studies and getting a job after graduation. It can build your confidence, contacts, and of course your CV. Leeds Law School also has a dedicated new building at the heart of our City Campus, with its own bespoke courtroom, giving you the opportunity to witness mock trials and mooting competitions.

Standard 12th qualifications (CBSE/ICSE or State Boards of equivalent)

Grade: Minimum aggregate of 60% and above

English language requirements (one of the below):

• IELTS 6.0 with no skill below 5.5
• All India Senior School Certificate (CBSE) – English Grade 70% 
• Indian School Certificate (Class-XII) (CISCE) – English Grade 70%
